Linus Torvalds stated, Linux 4.5-RC7 quite normal and not worrying.
Before -rc7 released, the kernel gets updates bigger than usual. This update can be found in the section commits driver with only a few lines.
Linux 4.5-RC7 brings three-quarters of driver updates (sound, GPU, watchdog, libata, RDMA, etc.). While the rest is repaired the architecture (SPARC, x86, MIPS, ARM) and the file system (JFFS2, CIFS, Ceph, and Btrfs).
